Vibe coding security
Security audits for vibe coded appsWe find what the AI missed, then fix it.
Tools like Cursor, Lovable, Bolt and Replit get you to launch fast. They also ship exposed API keys, open databases and missing access checks. SmartClick runs a security audit on your app, explains every finding in plain language and fixes it.
What we look for
Common security holes in AI generated code
The app runs and the demo looks good. The problems sit underneath, where nobody looked.
-
Exposed API keys and secrets
Keys, tokens and passwords sitting in front end code, config files or git history.
How we fix itWe find every leaked credential, rotate it and move it somewhere safe.
-
Broken access control
One user can read or change another user’s data by editing a URL or a request.
How we fix itWe add ownership and role checks on the server, then test them the way an attacker would.
-
Open databases
Supabase, Firebase and other back ends with row level security or rules missing, so anyone can read or write.
How we fix itWe lock down policies and storage rules, then verify them.
-
Injection and unsafe input
Forms and endpoints that trust what they receive: SQL injection, cross site scripting and unsafe file uploads.
How we fix itWe validate and sanitize input on the server and close the injection paths.
-
Weak authentication
Login, session handling, password reset and admin pages that can be guessed, abused or skipped.
How we fix itWe harden the login flow and sessions and add rate limits.
-
Vulnerable dependencies
Packages the AI added that are outdated, vulnerable or not needed at all.
How we fix itWe update, replace or remove them and add automatic checks.
How it works
How a security audit works
- 1
Scope
Tell us what you built, which tools wrote it and where it runs.
- 2
Audit
We test the running app and review code, configuration and dependencies.
- 3
Fix
We patch what we find, or give your team clear steps in priority order.
- 4
Retest
We check every fix and send a final report.
What you get
What you get from the audit
A report you can read
Every finding in plain language, ranked by risk.
Fixes, not only a list
We apply the changes, or prepare them for your team to merge.
A retest
We confirm each issue is closed before we call it done.
A checklist for new code
A short review list to use before AI generated code ships.
Quick self-check
How exposed is your app?
Answer eight questions. It takes about a minute and nothing you choose leaves your browser. It points you to what to check. It is not an audit.

Questions
Vibe coding security questions
Straight answers about how a security audit of an AI generated app works.
Something else on your mind?
Describe your app in a few lines and we will reply with answers.
What is vibe coding?
Vibe coding means building software by describing what you want to an AI coding tool and accepting the code it writes. It is fast and it works, but an experienced engineer often never reviews the result. That is where security problems get through.
Do you need access to my code?
For a full security audit, yes. That means a repository or a copy of the project. We can also test a running app from the outside. We agree on scope and access with you before we start.
Which tools and stacks do you cover?
We audit apps made with Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit and other AI coding tools, on stacks such as React, Next.js, Node, Python, Supabase and Firebase. Not sure about yours? Send us a note.
Will you fix the problems or only report them?
Both. You can order the report alone, or ask us to apply the fixes and retest.
Is this the same as penetration testing?
It overlaps. This audit targets the mistakes AI built apps make most often, and it ends with fixes. If you need a formal penetration test for compliance, tell us and we will scope that separately.
How do we start?
Write to us with a short description of your app. We reply with questions and a proposal.
Check it before your users find the holes.
Tell us what you built. We will tell you what we would check first.
