Senior Data Scientist
We are looking for an expert in machine learning to help us extract value from our data. You will lead all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, to training models and deploying them to production. The ideal candidate will be passionate about artificial intelligence and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for development, validation, and implementation of predictive models, learning algorithms, and analytics
- Responsible for development and application of appropriate quantitative methods (predictive models, statistical methods, etc.) for multiple integrated complex data streams
- Develop machine learning and deep learning models
- Evaluate and analyze the quality of the data
- Write production-level codes that are utilized by the models
- Study and research new techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
Technical Qualifications
- Python knowledge is required
- Required frameworks: Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Scipy, scikit image, Open-CV and multiple DL frameworks Pytorch, Tensorflow etc.
- Knowledge of algorithms
- Proficient in training and fine-tuning state of the art DL models
- Experienced in deploying DL models on premise and on cloud
- Knowledge of a web framework (flask, Django)
- Knowledge of optimization through parallelism. (multi-threading, multi-processing, Asynchronous, cluster management, etc.)
Non-Technical Responsibilities
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, complemented by an ability to collaborate with the development team
- Good verbal and written skills in both Armenian and English languages
- Solid organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and extend a significant amount of information with attention to details and accuracy
- Deep interest in learning both the theoretical and practical aspects of working with and deriving insights from data
- Ability to scope, manage and execute assigned projects with effective data visualization
Education and Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics
- 4+ years of experience in the role of ML engineer or data scientist
